Says unapproved agency charging exorbitant fees
Kohima, August 3 (MExN): The Nagaland Board of School Education (NBSE) today informed that unauthorised private agency had been operating as an intermediary for applicants of the Board’s documents without its knowledge.
The practice was recently discovered and the agency reportedly charged exorbitant fees to the applicants before sending the application forms to the Board, it said.
This practice is unacceptable as it has the potential to tarnish the good image of the Board, the NBSE stated.
As per the State DIPR, the Board accordingly has directed the agency in question or any other agencies involved in similar practice to stop the same with immediate effect.
Applicants who apply for documents through such agencies will be doing so at their own risk, as such applications may be summarily rejected by the Board, it said.
In this connection, the NBSE has advised the applicants to desist from seeking help from such agencies and apply directly to the Board’s office.
Duplicate documents can be applied for in person and migration certificate may be applied for in person or through email at nbsedup@gmail.com with proper postal address, it added.
