ANSU reaches out to student community

DIMAPUR , June 25: All Nchangram Students’ Union (ANSU), Tening, Peren while affirming to be “an agent of voluntarism” has been lending helping hand to studentswithin the Nchangram village by assisting them in their studies.

In a press release, ANSU president KibouwiZeliang and vice president TingwangsiNewmaisaid the drive was initiated to reach out to those students who are unable to prepare for their first quarterly examination as they have limited or no access to study materials. ANSU said many students are without personal smart phones to get access to study materials and question papers provided virtually by their respective schools.

“At times, due to communication gap, some of the students are failing themselves to attend their weekly tests/monthly tests/quarterly examinations”, ANSU stated.

The union informed that starting June 22 onwards it has begun to provide free tuitions to students studying in LKG to Class X. In this regard, the union has encouraged its federating units to assist the students within its respective jurisdiction while strictly adhering to COVID-19 protocols. ANSU asked its units to guide and motivate the students during these challenging circumstances.
