5 times Catholic Church constructed in Kidima in 51 years to be dedicated

DIMAPUR, Nov 29: St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, the first established by Jesuits Mission amongst North East India on November 22, 1970 was constructed five times. The new church building would be inaugurated by the pioneer missionary Rev. Father Raymond D’Souza SJ, who is also the director of Eden Gardens Children Home, Khuzama and to be blessed by Bishop of Kohima, Most Rev Dr. James Thoppil, December 5 under the theme “My house will be called a house of prayer for all nations”.

Highlights of the programme will be litany of the saints, reading of the words of God, Eucharist celebration, blessing of the St Francis Xavier relic followed by special number presentation by choir.

The organising committee request all the well-wishers and Catholic members of Kidima to join in the joyful holy ceremony occasion.
