Amidst lockdown across India, search on for missing youth from Nagaland

The search is on for a missing person by the name Nzanthung Ngullie hailing from Wokha District, Nagaland. Aged 28 years, Nzanthung is missing from Bharod, Thana Chhaprauli District, Bagpat in Uttar Pradesh from March 26, 2020. According to information available with The Naga Republic, the Naga youth was returning from Goa where he had gone for a placement and reached Delhi to return home but got stuck en-route somewhere in UP because of the sudden lock-down.

 

 

In a message posted by the mother, Nzanthung was last seen at Bagpat (UP). “He has no where to stay, he has no phone (lost) and we have no update about him”, the mother informed. His last contact with his mother was from someone’s phone. “If anyone just incase know anybody at the at UP or you stay there and happened to see him. Please contact this no. (+919862826749)”, was the message posted by family members.

 

According to a source, Nzanthung met a guy Dastgir from Darbhanga BIHAR (8572882573) at Baraut, Bagpat and called his mother from this number. “He had no place to make him stay so Dastgir took this guy to some uncle who runs or manages a car parking. This car parking guy directed him to the town to search for a Dharmshala”.

Meanwhile the administration in UP has been alerted about the missing person. Former Organizing Secretary of Kalyan Ashram Nagaland Jagdamba Mall who is presently a full time BJP worker staying at Gorakhpur, UP has written to Avanish Awasthiji, Additional Chief Secretary, Home, Govt of Uttar Pradesh.

 

“His aggrieved mother approached me to help her in tracing out her missing son  Nzanthung Ngullie. I am forwarding the details of this person with a humble request to your kind authority to do the needful for tracing him out and also for making necessary arrangements for sending him to his parents in Wokha Distt.  of Nagaland”, Mall stated in his letter.

 

When contacted, Jagdamba Mall informed that the Addl. Chief Secy. has handed over the case to the concerned SP. Search is still on and his picture has been circulated on all social media platform and also given to media men, it was informed.
