Dimapur, October 6 (MExN): Five districts in Nagaland registered a total of 68 new COVID-19 cases on Tuesday. Dimapur and Kohima had the highest number of new cases with 31 and 29 each while 4 were reported in Peren, 2 in Mokokchung and 2 in Mon. As per the Nagaland COVID-19 bulletin issued by the State Health and Family Welfare department, the total number of positive cases in Nagaland is 6662 as on October 6. Meanwhile, 37 patients were also discharged on Tuesday, taking the State’s recovery tally to 5408. There are 1179 COVID-19 active cases at present. The State has also registered 12 fatalities. 5 deaths are categorized as ‘not COVID related’ in the bulletin and 6 deaths are currently under investigation.
