The event was organised by the Wokha District Administration in collaboration with the Department of Social Welfare and the District Hub for Empowerment of Women under the Mission Shakti initiative.
Wokha Deputy Commissioner Vineet Kumar (IAS), in his keynote address, emphasised the importance of continuous learning and personal growth. He highlighted that the judges would be looking for talent and effort, rather than just the results.

He further noted that the true essence of such competitions lies not in winning, but in the courage to stand on stage, share one’s talent, and push personal boundaries. “Every step you take on this journey is a victory in itself,” he remarked, encouraging the participants to view challenges as opportunities for self-improvement.
He also praised the participants for their dedication, noting that their involvement in the competition demonstrated the strength of character and resilience required to pursue their passions. “Whether you win or not, know that you have already achieved something remarkable by being here today. You are setting an example for others, showing that talent has no limits, and with determination, every goal is within reach,” he said.
In closing, he encouraged everyone to continue pursuing their dreams, to keep honing their skills, and to remain confident in their abilities.
