DIMAPUR, NOVEMBER 2 (MExN): The Sümi Hoho, together with the Western Sümi Hoho and its allied organizations, met with senior Sümi leaders from Naga national political groups at Kuhuboto town. The consultative meeting brought together Sümi elders and church leaders in a collective effort to strengthen intra-tribal bonds and contribute positively to the broader Naga society.
In discussions, leaders unanimously underscored the need for the Sümi leadership to embody unity, both in principle and in practice. They emphasized that only through collective vision and joint efforts can the aspirations of the Naga people be realized. Maintaining harmonious relations with all Naga tribes was stressed as essential for lasting peace, progress, and cohesion within the region.
The Sümi Hoho highlighted the importance of political leaders actively engaging with the public to build trust and ensure transparency.
