Chümoukedima, Nov 1 (MExN): The 3-Day Campus Film Festival 4.0, presented by Mahindra Apex Motors Nagaland, powered by Hunky Dory and organised by the Department of Mass Communication at Patkai Christian College (PCC), concluded on October 30.
The event was managed by the third year students of the Mass Communication Department under the leadership of festival directors Yomge Jilen and Wano Nangmung Yanlem.
The film screening drew a total of 793 attendees registered over three days.
The first day witnessed an audience of 130 for 11 screenings. On the second day, nine films- 176 viewers, while the final day achieved the highest turnout, with 367 attendees for eight screenings. In addition to the films, the event featured departmental and sponsor stalls, and departmental photobooths which allowed attendees to engage beyond the screenings.
With the support of 19 sponsors, the festival provided a platform for the organizers and attendees, and concluded on a very high note.
Festival director Yomge Jilen commenting on the success of the event said, ‘The footfall looks impressive today as hundreds of festival revellers are seen engaging in different food stalls and photobooth.’
Dr Dakter Esse Jamir, HOD Mass Communication in the closing of the event said that the 3-day film festival is a 100 percent student curated event and that the event comes under the course papers Media Entrepreneurship and Event Management and PR.
