Jalukie, January 10 (MExN): The 10th Children’s Festival of Christian Education Department (CED) under Liangmai Baptist Association (LBA) under the banner of ‘Bear Much Fruit’ is underway at Liangmai Baptist Church, New Jalukie with Rev Kitanwi Chewang, Executive Secretary, LBA and Azanuo Viluo Ciesotsu, Child Director, ABCC as the speaker.
A total of 780 children are participating in the three-day festival (January 9 to 11), stated a DIPR report.
In the inaugural function, Rev Kitanwi Chewang said, “Children should avoid any intoxicating substances as it drift them away from the blessings of God. Children should be allowed to sing, dance and pray as it helps them grow in God.” He encouraged the children from the life of Samuel and Samson and ended his speech with a challenge to have a heart of repentance and conviction.
