Dimapur, October 10 (MExN): Apostle Rev Louliehu Yimsung, Founder, Leaders Arise Nagaland (LAN), Initiator, Overseas Naga Association (ONA) and Co-Founder, Kingdom Leaders Prayer Breakfast (KLPB) has been appointed as the Ambassador of Helping Hands, Nagaland for South East Asia, Asia Pacific and Oceania.
He was felicitated and handed over his appointment letter by the President, Helping Hands Nagaland, Dr Andrew Ahoto Sema at Dimapur on October 8, the Media Cell of Helping Hands Nagaland stated in a press release .
Rev Yimsung is presently based in Brisbane, Australia. “His association with Helping Hands Nagaland will help in assisting the people from Nagaland, especially the students, who are staying abroad in these regions,” the release stated. Nagaland Chapter of Helping Hands was launched on October 23, 2022 by its Founding President, Robin Hibu, IPS, Special Commissioner and ADGP, Delhi Police. Helping Hands is a charitable non-profit non-government organization in India. The core principles at Helping Hands include shared vision and goals, collaboration and sharing, mutual respect and joint investment of efforts in the overall goal of uplifting and empowering the under-privileged.
According to Dr Andrew, since its inception, Helping Hands has started collaborating with other organizations and civic bodies and Non-Naga Community Organizations have been inducted as its voluntary partners.
This will help in better coordination and mobilization of resources and manpower during emergency situations where the people from Nagaland staying in other states of India require assistance.
He also said that the Helping Hands Nagaland will be conducting awareness camps, blood donation drives, career counseling and such other humanitarian services from time to time, it added.
