NABARD intensive training on bamboo craft concludes

Chümoukedima, April 178 (MExN): Under NABARD’s Livelihood Enterprise Development Program (LEDP), intensive 15-day training on bamboo craft was conducted by Pro Rural at Life Ministry Learning Centre, Naga United Village, Chümoukedima.

A press release received here stated that Madrasa Dkhar, AGM, NABARD graced the valedictory session as the special guest on April 13. He spoke on the importance of market efficiency and designing a niche product with continuous refinement as they grow and learn in their business. 

 

 

The trainees were taken for an exposure trip to Nagaland Bamboo Resource Centre at 6th mile, Chümoukedima and Wood Craft Centre, Diezephe. 

Earlier, the training was inaugurated on March 28, 2023 in the presence of Ramkumar Sharma, GM SIDBI, Dimapur and Kiyelu T Yeptho, Inspector of Industries, DIC with Joseph Sangtam as the master trainer. A total of 29 trainees registered for the training.
