DIMAPUR, APRIL 13 (MExN): The Power Department today informed that test charge of power lines will be conducted in several areas of Dimapur and asked the public to not touch nor go near the said lines. A press release from the department informed that construction of 2×10 MVA, 33/11 kV Sub-station at Padumpukhuri and 33kV Transmission line from existing 132/66/33kV Nagarjan Sub-station to Padampukhuri New Sub-station, passing through the jurisdictions of the following areas, is completed and shall be test charged at the rated voltage at 5:30 am on April 14 and will remain charged thereafter. The areas include Kuda B, Full Nagarjan, Phaipijang, Naharbari, Darogapathar, and Padumpukhuri. “All the public are informed not to touch the said line nor go near the line,” the press release stated.
