Along with the rest of the country, Nagaland will witness a gradual rise in maximum temperatures (2-4°Celsius) during the next five days, informed an update by the Indian Meteorological Department on April 9.
In terms of rainfall forecast between-April 9 to 13, the IMD’s 5-day ‘All India Weather Summary and Forecast Bulletin’ issued on Sunday evening said that the State will receive rain in isolated places for the first three days, followed by dry spells.
The likely scenario is expected in other North-East States such as Assam, Meghalaya, Manipur, Mizoram and Tripura while scattered rainfall was expected in Arunachal Pradesh.
The report also mentioned that there won’t be any significant heat wave conditions over any part of the country in the above mentioned days.
However, maximum temperatures are likely to rise gradually by 3-5°Celsius over most parts of the country except North-East India and the Western Himalayan region during the next 3-5 days.
This will be followed by dry weather during the subsequent days from April 14 onwards, the Bulletin added.
