Dimapur, March 20 (MExN): The NDPP Wokha Region attended the thanksgiving programme of Mhathung Yanthan, the newly elected MLA from 39 Sanis Assembly Constituency, as well as Protem Speaker and Advisor for Agriculture, Government of Nagaland.
During the programme which was held on March 18 in Lakhuti Village, Mhathung Yanthan, Protem thanked all the party workers, his supporters as well as church leaders for their support and prayers. According to a press release received here on Sunday, he assured to do his best for the general infrastructure development and people’s livelihood.
John Ezung, President NDPP Wokha Region, expressed happiness and congratulated Yanthan for his victory. The NDPP Wokha Region extended gratitude to all the NDPP party workers as well as all the supporters of NDPP for electing Yanthan as the representative from 39 Sanis AC.
The NDPP Wokha Region also expressed gratitude to Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio and NDPP President Chingwang Konyak for allotting Mhathung Yanthan the role of an Advisor and assured to unanimously support their leadership.
