NHM finance staff receive FDMS training

Kohima, August 20 (MExN): National Health Mission, Nagaland in collaboration with Axis Bank Limited, Kohima Branch conducted two-day orientation training on Fund Disbursement and Management Solution (FDMS) from August 17.

The training was held in line with the Ministry of Finance OM for ‘Procedure for release of funds under Centrally Sponsored Scheme (CSS) and monitoring utilization of funds released,’ informed a press release on August 19. The FDMS will be used as a tool for effective fund management and bring more efficiency in disbursement to NHM Schemes at various Agency level, it said.

Dr Thorhusie Katiry, Mission Director NHM who was also present, thanked Axis Bank for giving their time to share and explain in-depth on FDMS. He appealed to the District and Block Accounts Managers under the umbrella of NHM and Financial Consultants, Programme division l, to take the opportunity to clear up all their queries as such trainings cannot be organized frequently, the release stated.

Along with the participants, Dr Mereninla Senlem, State Program Officer, NHM and Dr Tinurenla, Dy Director NHM was also present at the training, according to the release. The resource persons were led by Keneingutuo Albert, Finance Manager, NHM, along with representatives from Axis Bank and IT Solution team.
