Borlengri Lotha Baptist Church (BLBC) organised a seminar for Church ministries, with an aim to rectify their doubts and to encourage Church leaders to serve others in accordance with Christ’s interests, here, Friday.
Speaker of the seminar, Rev. Dr. Ezamo Murry highlighted the perspective of being a good leader and said that leaders required qualities that influenced and morally supported the congregation.
This way, he said, they could see and accomplish God’s purpose for them in the world. He also dwelt on the importance of utilising steward time.
The reverend said that in order to meet the spirit of compromise and formalism that was weakening the church’s spiritual stamina, they needed to diagnose, prescribe and carry forward a programme towards revival and reformation that would enliven the church.
He also cited a message from the book John 12:26, Jeremiah 23 and Mathew 19.
