DIMAPUR, November 17: Rengma Mothers’ Association (RMA) hold a “Prayer Rally” in solidarity with the people’s aspiration for creation of Tseminyu district on November 16.
The rally stated from RSA ground at Tseminyu Old Town to ADC office, Tseminyu and culminated at Town Hall Tseminyu.
The rally started with a mass prayer at the flag off point and proceeded towards the Town Hall Tseminyu where a short program was held.
According to RMA media cell, at the programme, RMA president, Sojule Tep delivered the presidential address and solidarity messages were extended from various Rengma apex organizations by representatives of the Rengma Hoho, Rengma Students’ Union, Rengma Selo Zi, Rengma GB Association and RVCCF.
During the rally, mass prayers were conducted at multiple locations.
Womenfolk from various Naga tribes, representatives from several organizations, concerned members and citizens of Tseminyu sub-division participated in the rally which covered a distance of 5 km approximately.
