DIMAPUR, Nov 11: Phek district launched “Har Ghar Dastak campaign” a house-to house campaign on Covid vaccination at the office of the chief medical officer, Phek on Wednesday.
In a press release, district media officer NHM Phek, Kutolu Nakro informed that the campaign was formally launched by chief medical officer (CMO) Phek, Dr. Khriezotuo Paphino in the presence of district program officers Phek, doctors from district hospital, Phek, Dobashi and CMO staff.
The campaign was launched to accelerate the coverage of first and second dose. During the campaign from November 10-30, the health care workers would reach out, give counselling, mobilise and vaccinate beneficiaries who missed-out or the dropped out eligible beneficiaries to complete the vaccination schedule for adequate protection.
A brief outline of the objective of the campaign was highlighted by DPO RCH-UIP Phek Dr. Kolhitso Khalo.
