DIMAPUR, OCT 16 (NPN) : Working Committee of the NNPGs led by N. Kitovi Zhimomi and Government of India (GoI) representative on Naga talks, A.K. Mishra formally met on Thursday in Delhi.
In a press note, WC, NNPGs media cell said that the “consultation” between the two sides was “a cordial affair with both sides displaying consistency and commitment of purpose, taking up the thread from where former Government of India interlocutor R.N. Ravi left.”
WC said that further deliberations will continue in the near future to work out the finer details of an enduring relationship.
It may be recalled that WC, NNPGs co-convener and NSCN/GPRN (Khango-Isak) general secretary Isak Sumi had informed Nagaland Post, prior to his departure for Delhi, that formal talks with Centre had concluded on October 31, 2019 with then Interlocutor RN Ravi and now the attempt was to “fine tune and tie the loose ends”.
