CANSSEA calls on CS; submits representations

DIMAPUR , August 12 : Confederation of All Nagaland State Services Employees’ Association (CANSSEA) led by its president, Dr. Ilang on August 9, met state chief secretary, J. Alam and submitted representations in his office chamber.

According to a DIPR report, the chief secretary encouraged CANSSEA representatives to work hand in hand with the government.

“We can achieve much when we work together through mutual understanding,” he said. He added that government employees were the backbone of the society, especially during the pandemic when one can do their bit by being present in their places of posting. The chief secretary also assured to look into the representations that were submitted by the CANSSEA officials.

The representations included: grant of DA/ADA to state government employees WEF 01-01-2020 to 30-06-2021; office memorandum for relaxation of qualifying years of service for promotion, regarding revocation, review/modification of earlier OM’S and the induction into IAS cadre through promotion and selection for state civil service and other services, rule of the Indian administrative service (Recruitment) Rules 1954; vis-à-vis Non SCS.
